Why our client’s trust is our first priority.

The news coming out of the Financial Services Royal Commission over the last 2 weeks has been anything but acceptable. The big 4 banks and AMP have admitted to giving advice that is not in their clients’ best interests and to creating cultures that put commissions at the top of their advisers’ priorities list.

Claringbold Financial Services has recently ventured out and obtained our own Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL). One of the reasons we wanted get our own AFSL is because we wanted to be able to introduce processes that will benefit you, our client, and make your financial planning journey a little easier – something that we couldn’t do working under a large corporate licensee. As a newly self-licenced financial services business, we pride ourselves on always putting your interests before our own and giving clear, concise and easy to understand advice.

Financial issues are the number one cause of stress for Australians.

We believe that you should be in a better position after working with us and that fees should be based on the advice you need, not how much you have to invest. We don’t take or accept asset based fees or commissions (even on life insurance). Any investment, superannuation or insurance product we recommend is based on due diligence and how it fits with your life and works to improve your position.

A good financial planner will understand that life shouldn’t be just about money. It’s about you having the choice to live the way you want, do the things you enjoy, support the people you love, and most of all, live comfortably and stress free in all stages of your life, especially in retirement.

That’s why our aim is always to get the best outcomes for you. We do this by taking time to understand what’s important to them, including your key issues and your lifestyle & financial goals.

38% of Australians say financial security is the main factor influencing their decision about when to retire.

Our planning approach means our focus is on your outcomes rather than product, so we can develop a plan that gives you the financial freedom to live the way you want and do the things you enjoy.
